Dr. Patrick Allman-Ward

Member – Board of Directors

Dr. Patrick Allman-Ward is also the Group CEO and Member of the Board of Directors of the parent company, Dana Gas PJSC. He is an accomplished international energy executive with over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, in many senior positions in locations all over the world, including the Middle East. Dr. Allman-Ward started his career at Shell in 1982, and subsequently held senior management roles as Vice-President Exploration for Asia-Pacific, CEO and Board Member of the South Rub Al Khali Company, Vice-President of New Business Development in Saudi Arabia and New Ventures Execution Manager for Europe. Dr. Allman-Ward joined Dana Gas in August 2012 and was selected by the Dana Gas Board of Directors to take over as CEO of the Dana Gas Group effective 1st September 2013.

Dr. Allman-Ward studied geology at Durham University and earned his PhD from the Royal School of Mines, Imperial College, University of London.

Duncan Maclean

Member – Board of Directors

Duncan MacLean is the Legal and Commercial Director for Dana Gas PJSC. He joined Dana Gas in March 2014 as the Commercial and Business Development Director.

Prior to joining Dana Gas, he was the International Chair of Energy & Resources at Squire Patton Boggs, a global law firm. In that role Duncan was responsible for managing the global Energy & Resources team (+200 partners and lawyers) and the development and implementation of the global strategy and business plan for the team.

Duncan’s current commercial role is largely based around the strategic management, development and implemention of appropriate commercial and business development strategies for asset acquisition, operational management, and divestment. Duncan is also responsible for the legal function within Dana Gas.

Duncan graduated from Charles Darwin University in 1992 with a Bachelor of Laws, and from the University of Melbourne in 2002 with a Masters in Commercial Law.

Andrew Roberts

Member- Board of Directors

Roberts is also the Legal Director of the parent company Crescent Petroleum. Before working in-house in the oil business, he was a partner in private practice with a law firm based in London.

He has rich international experience gained through various points of his career in London, Qatar, Dubai, Malaysia and Geneva before taking up his current position with Crescent Petroleum in 2000. He has acquired specific experience in relation to onshore and offshore upstream oil and gas related industries.

Roberts graduated from Oxford University with an MA (Honors) and was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in 1984.
