Project DirectorPeter Skelley has an experience of 20 years, working in Petrochemicals for BP and latterly INEOS, before joining Gas Cities, as Industrial Development Manager. At BP & INEOS Pete was involved in Mergers & Acquisitions, major Project Developments & Petrochemical Infrastructure. He lead and was heavily involved in major projects to build Pipelines, Power stations and other on-site and off-site Infrastructure to support Olefin & Polyolefin plants across the World, after an initial 5 years building Commercial Optimisation & Utility Management systems for the Acetic Acid & Solvents Businesses.
Dr. Bakhteyar Shamsadeen
Business Development ManagerBakhteyar Shamsadeen has been appointed as Business Development Manager responsible for Kurdistan Gas City and Government Relations Director for Kurdistan operations. Bakhteyar comes to us with over thirty years of experience in industrial design and construction including planning, design, installation, commissioning, operations and maintenance. He has also been involved in several major industrial projects at different levels in Iraq and in the UK. He started his career in Iraq with the Ministry of Industry in Baghdad & Sulaimaniyah Sugar Factory, Sulaimaniyah, Iraq before moving to the UK. Bakhteyar holds a B.Sc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Liverpool, an M.Sc in Power Electronics from the University of Bradford and a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Liverpool.
Abdulla Al-Qadi
Director - Upstream OperationsAbdulla Al-Qadi is a graduate of New Mexico School of Mining & Technology in USA. Mr. Al-Qadi is a petroleum engineer by education with extensive and diversified experience in exploration and development operations, mainly in petroleum development, drilling and production. Mr. Al-Qadi has had a highly successful career for over 17 years with ADNOC group, most recently as the Offshore & Onshore Drilling Manager.
Ravi Kumar
Director - Business ServicesRavi Kumar is the Director of Business Services for Gas Cities. Business Services include accounts, human resources & administration, information technology, materials & logistics and warehousing. He is also extensively involved in supporting business development activities, including contract negotiations. Mr. Kumar is a Chartered Accountant and member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, London and the Institute of Cost & Works Accountants, India. He also worked in the audit divisions of Ernst & Young in the UAE and A. F. Ferguson & Co. in India. He also holds a B.Com (Honours) degree from the University of Delhi.
Walid Hebeika
Marketing ManagerWalid Hebeika had 17 years of work experience in multi disciplines mainly in ExxonMobil Downstream before joining Gas Cities. His 14 years of diversified work experience with ExxonMobil, was not only mainly in Sales and Marketing, but also included Technical Support, Business Analysis & Reporting, and Change Management. During his service with Exxon, Mr. Hebeika was involved in major events: ExxonMobil merger in year 2000, and migration from JDE to SAP in MENA in year 2004. Mr. Hebeika has a B. Sc. in Mechanical Engineering and M. Sc. in Business Dynamics from Ain-Shams University in Cairo. Walid also has teaching experience in Ain-Shams University in Cairo (ASU), the American University in Cairo (AUC), and the French University in Cairo (UFE).
Hind O. Kheir
Human Resources ManagerHind O. Kheir is the Human Resources Manager of the Gas Cities,, responsible for all areas of employee relations, including recruitment, compensation, benefits, employee training and development and labour relations. Mrs. Kheir holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science with a minor in Business Administration from the University of North Texas.
Saji Chacko
Accounts ManagerSaji Chacko is responsible for all accounting and related functions for Gas Cities. He joined PricewaterhouseCoopers, India in 1991 as part of training for his Chartered Accountancy. Thereafter, he worked in their Mumbai, Singapore and Dubai offices. He is an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and also a graduate member of the Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India.
